Angus Fender Racing

2018

As 2017 draws to a close and the 2018 year’s racing season draws ever nearer, it pleases me immensely to be able to announce that I am will be moving up a division over the winter break from the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, to the Ginetta GT4 Supercup. The step up from a 160BHP 4-cylinder Ginetta G40, to a Ginetta G55, a 360BHP proper GT racer is a step I am incredibly excited about and even more thankful to everyone who is allowing me to follow my dreams. To provide some background information on the series, it is a single make race series, similarly to last years GT5 championship. However, this series is run solely alongside the British Touring Car Championship on the TOCA package. This means that every single round of next years championship will be broadcast live on ITV4 to an average audience size of over 10 million people for each race weekend. Not only is the TOCA package broadcast in Britain, but also in North America on CBS sport, FOX Sport Australia, ONE HD and Speed TV, making it Britain’s biggest and most viewed Race series. Thanks to the coverage over 6 different countries, it is guaranteed that I will have a lot more television coverage than I did last season making sponsor’s logos publicised more than ever in front of the 60,00 at-circuit spectators.
